Jessica Soho, Bossing, and Pacman honored by Reader’s Digest

For the third year in a row, veteran broadcast journalist Jessica Soho was hailed among the Most Trusted Personalities of Reader's Digest Asia.

The award-winning anchor of "State of the Nation" and "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" is Reader's Digest Most Trusted News Presenter for 2013, "Unang Hirit" reported on Friday.

Honored by such recognition, Soho said, "Napakalaking responsibilidad na patuloy na pagkatiwalaan ng ating mga manonood. 'Di ko 'to kaya kung wala ang buong GMA News and Public Affairs kaya para sa ating lahat ito."

RD Asia Pacific editor-in-chief Sue Carney said in the same report, "Jessica seems to rate so highly of somebody who connects highly with the audience... somebody that they can believe in. They can trust what she says and she makes them feel comfortable and obviously does the job in a very professional way."

Soho, GMA's vice-president for news programs, is the first Filipina who won the George Peabody Award for Investigative Journalism back in 2000.

Aside from Soho, ace comedian and TV host Vic Sotto was named RD's Most Trusted Presenter for Entertainment and Variety, while superstar boxer and Sarangani representative Manny Pacquiao is RD's Most Trusted Personality this year.
