Jesy Nelson took to social media to congratulate Little Mix on their Brits win, after the remaining members scooped up Best British Group at the awards ceremony.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards made history last night as the first girl group to ever win in the category. As well as using their acceptance speech to call out misogyny and sexism in the industry - and to shout out the brilliant other girl bands in British history - they also thanked Jesy Nelson.

"We have been together for 10 years. It's been the best years of our lives," they said. "We want to start by thanking our incredible fans, and of course Jesy. We want to thank our management team, our amazing promo team who have been since us since day one."

Fans were overwhelmed with happiness for the group, taking to social media to share their congratulations. And they weren't the only ones - Jesy also took to Instagram Stories to share her congratulations for the band.

The singer regrammed a photo of Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade holding their Brit award, and added five heart emojis and three clapping hand emojis.
