Jollibee expands 'Jollibots' in other branches

Jollibee stores in Visayas and Mindanao are upping their game in terms of providing better service to its customers through the introduction of “Jollibots,” or Jollibee robot servers.

The first Jollibot in the region was spotted in a Jollibee branch at SM Seaside City in Cebu, and was picked up by food blog Kalami Cebu.

“The first #Jollibots in [Visayas-Mindanao] are serving at Jollibee SM Seaside City Cebu! High tech na kaayo ang Jollibee bay! (Jollibee Seaside City Cebu is already high-tech!),” it said in a Facebook post.

“The Jollibee Robot servers are now ready to wow and delight Cebuano Jollibee diners,” Kalami Cebu added.

Many netizens in the area were delighted by the robots, saying that it will greatly help on-the-ground crews in the store to provide better service to its customers.

The first Jollibots appeared in Jollibee branches in SM Aura at Bonifacio Global City, and has since been expanded in other areas such as in SM Glorietta in Makati, and now in SM Seaside City in Cebu.

Jollibee’s president, Ferns Yu Jr., said in a report that their goal is to continuously provide top-notch service to their customers, thus the company will continue to “innovate our services to deliver a leveled-up customer experience.”

“We’re piloting new innovations and technology in select stores and are excited to roll them out to more branches in the future,” he added.

The Jollibots are part of the company’s signature brand of service “Alagang Jollibee” that aims to provide quality service and at the same time efficiency in their operations.

“We’re very proud of our store teams’ trademark warm and joyful service – that’s what sets our teams apart in the fast food industry. These new features contribute to an even better level of customer convenience, and increased efficiency for our operations as well,” Yu added.
