K Brosas and Pokwang meet with car accident in US; no major injuries suffered

Comediennes K Brosas and Pokwang were caught in a car accident while on tour in the United States.

Thankfully, both of them were safe following the accident, with only one of them suffering minor injuries.

K tweeted on Monday (Aug 1), "So na car accident kami kanina, thank you Lord at safe naman kami, ako lang ang may minor cut at may konting bruises. Naloka ako sa bilis ng pagdating ng ambulance firetrucks etc. Na check naman ako at ok lang, mabuti malaki yung pickup truck kung saan kami nakasakay."

(So we were in a car accident earlier, thank you Lord and we’re safe, I’m the only one with a minor cut and a few bruises. I was in awe at the speed with which the ambulance and firetrucks etc. arrived. I was checked and I am OK, good thing that the pickup truck we were riding in was big.)

K further shared a photo of the accident scene. "Eto po pala itsura ng bangga… Sa side ko talaga impact kaya ako lang ang [medyo na-injure ng very very] light lang malayo sa bituka. Still thank you Lord talaga… OK pa rin naman ako at kaming lahat,” she said.

(The impact was [mostly felt] on my side which is why I was the only one who got injured, [but it was] just minor and nothing serious. Still, thank you Lord, really. I as well as my companions are all OK.)

Brosas later posted a video of the two performers together with a companion having a meal to show that they were safe and sound.

"Salamat po sa mga well wishers. OK naman na kami at eto steak at wine with emotions!" she said.

The two are travelling in the US for their BFF: Music And Laughter concert tour.
