Kerry Katona has told how she once had such bad money worries that she felt like driving off a bridge.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 41, has been bankrupt twice in the past, in 2008 and again in 2013.

Opening up on The Sun's Dear Deirdre podcast, the mum-of-five said: "There’s been times when I’ve been wanting to drive the car off a bridge because I think, ‘How am I going to clothe these five kids?’

Katona revealed she was so broke at points that she worried about how she was going to feed her children or buy them school uniforms.

“It used to come to September and I’d think, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to buy five lots of uniforms, five lots of PE kits, five lots of shoes and PE shoes and school bags'," she said.

She went on: “I couldn’t afford to pay my rent. I thought, ‘Oh my God, how am I going to feed the kids?’”

Katona – who has battled substance abuse problems – has now turned things around and said earlier this year that she has become a millionaire again, partly because of OnlyFans.

The star made a fortune by sharing content on the adults-only site and recently showed off a swanky new Lamborghini.

Katona shares daughters Lilly-Sue, 19, and Molly, 20, with Westlife singer Brian McFadden, who she was married to from 2002 to 2006.

The star tied the knot with Mark Croft in 2007 and they share daughter Heidi, 15, and son Maxwell, 14.
