Everyone has that one little beauty crutch that they need to keep in their bag or pocket at all times.

For some it's a lip balm, for others it's a travel fragrance, a face powder, or deodorant (and for everyone right now, it should be sanitiser and hand cream.)

And while Kim Kardashian is usually the first person to offer up beauty advice and insights, from her favourite face masks to the one makeup step you should be skipping, to her exact lip-plumping makeup hack - she's never revealed this one, small detail.

Seriously? She's overhauled how I conceal my under-eye circles, how I build a halo smokey eye, and she even famously leaked Kylie's brown mascara hack, but not a single mention of handbag essentials?

But yesterday, that all changed. After a quiet week, Kim has returned to Instagram to share a cornucopia of beauty intel.

And, after a cute shout-out to Patrick Starr and his new skincare range, she got to chatting about a certain something she never leaves the house without.

Drum roll, please...

It's cuticle clippers. Look, hear her out - I know it's not the most glamorous item, but there's a lot to be said for this recommendation.

Here's the thing - cast your mind back to how many times per day you, as an avid Kim K follower, see Kim's hands. Kim's hands while she swatches lipgloss. Kim's hands while she unboxes the latest Chrissy Teigen cookbook mail-out. Kim's hands while she, I don't know, poses in assless leather chaps (true story).

She posted the picture, featuring what looks a gifted nail kit by Tweezerman X nail artist Tom Bachik, saying:

"If anyone knows me, I carry round a cuticle cutter and nail file in my bag at all times!".

If you're keen to remove your cuticles in exactly the same way as KKW herself, you'll have to wait, as the kit doesn't seem to be currently available in the UK. In the meantime, however, you can follow suit with this:

Could a KKW cuticle cutter be on the horizon?

Stranger things have happened.
