King Properties set to build ‘green’ residential, commercial tower in Mandaue

CEBUANO property developer King Properties has unveiled its newest project, The Highline by Avenir, a 22-story residential and commercial building.

This new world-class development in Cebu will soon rise along M.C. Briones St., Barangay Bakilid, Mandaue City.

Led by its president Jason King and managing director Kenneth Raymund King, the company held the groundbreaking ceremony of the project on June 9, 2022.

Located along a major thoroughfare, this new high-rise tower puts together the home office concept, services, and amenities into one vertical development. It is designed to fit the busy lifestyle and hectic schedule of young professionals.

The green building will feature the SoHo or small office/home office concept, co-living and home office use, commercial and co-working spaces, roof deck and wellness area, concierge services, conference room, and entertainment area. It will also have high-speed elevators and internet-ready units.

To achieve this, this BERDE star rated home office project has partnered with Globe Telecom to ensure unit owners’ broadband connectivity when they move into their new homes soon, especially now that telecommunications service is a basic utility similar to power and water.

Company officials signed a memorandum of agreement for this purpose with Globe Telecom’s senior advisor for broadband business Danny Theseira, head for property and site acquisition Bernard Santos, and vice president for site lifecycle management services Michelle Ora.

During a press conference, King Properties revealed one of the highlights of the Highline project: a two-year free, fast fiber broadband service by Globe for its unit owners. (MMC)
