DANNY Kingad and Kevin Belingon suffered crucial losses in ONE Championship - “Winter Warriors II” on Dec. 17, 2021 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.

Kingad, the No. 2 rated flyweight, bowed down to former flyweight champion Kairat Akhmetov by unanimous decision.

Kingad is back to the drawing board and might have to make his way back up to get another shot at ONE flyweight Adriano Moraes.

Akhmetov relied on his wrestling to beat Kingad, the ONE Flyweight Grand Prix runner-up.

Kingad dropped to 14-3, while Ahkmetov improved to 28-2.

Meanwhile, Belingon suffered a second round stoppage upset in the hands of South Korean Kwon Won Il in the co-main event.

Kwon knocked Belingon out with a vicious body shot in the 52 second mark of the second round.

Belingon suffered his fourth straight defeat and fell to 20-9, while Kwon improved to 11-3.

Meanwhile, Stephen Loman and Jhanlo Mark Sangiao successfully made their respective ONE cage debuts.

Loman (15-2) demolished No. 3 rated banatamweight Yusup Saadulaev (20-6-1) in the fourth round.

Loman landed an overhand left that dropped Saadulaev. He followed it up with hammer fists that forced the referee to intervene in the 4:09 mark.

Sangiao (4-0) also had an impressive ONE debut with a first round submission win over Paul Lumihi (7-5).

Sangiao caught Lumihi with a rear-naked choke and forces him to tap 1:41 mark of the opening round.
