Kisses Delavin grateful for support in MUP headshot challenge

Kirsten Danielle "Kisses" Delavin expressed her gratitude to her adoring fans after she topped the “Headshot Challenge” of the Miss Universe PH 2021, the first hurdle of the competition.

In an Instagram post that she captioned, “Hello Universe!!! Maraming maraming Salamat po (Thank you very very much)!!! Love, Kisses,” the 22-year-old Kapuso actress shared a series of photographs including a selfie, a news item about her win, and a heartfelt message of thanks to her fans whom she calls “Kissables.”

The handwritten message read, “Hi po sa lahat (to all), maraming salamat po (thank you) from the bottom of my heart sa lahat ng bumoto at sumusuporta sa akin (to all who voted and supporting me) I love you all!”

The pageant queen from Masbate bested 99 other hopefuls, including frontrunners and fan favorites such as "Asia's Next Top Model" winner Maureen Christa Wroblewitz who bagged the third place.

Rousanne Marie Bernos came in second, and former Miss Mandaue Steffi Aberasturi took the fourth spot. Maria Corazon Abalos clinched the fifth spot, with pageant veterans Katrina Jayne Dimaranan and Leren Mae Bautista taking sixth and seventh place, respectively.

The online voting for the headshots came to a close Tuesday (Aug 3). Following this challenge, followers will vote again, this time for the aspirants' introduction videos. Aspirants will be given one minute to talk about themselves, highlighting their personalities and peculiarities.

The highly-anticipated Miss Universe Philippines 2021 will commence with a coronation night in September.
