SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) _ LATAM Airlines Group SA (LTM) on Tuesday reported a loss of $62.8 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Santiago, Chile-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 13 cents per share.
The airline posted revenue of $2.29 billion in the period.
LATAM shares have fallen 9% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 3.5% in the last 12 months.
