Cebuano forward Leonard Santillan has signed a three-year deal with the Rain or Shine E-Painters.

The fifth overall pick of this year’s rookie draft, the 6-foot-5 forward who hails from Lapu-Lapu City is set to become one of the cornerstones of the frontcourt rotation of new head coach Chris Gavina.

Rain or Shine already has veterans Beau Belga and Jewel Ponferrada as well as Norbert Torres, Prince Rivero, Vince Tolentino and the recently-acquired Bradwyn Guinto.

Also getting contracts were the E-Painters’ two other rookie selections in Frankie Johnson and Anton Asistio. Johnson, the scoring machine who was picked 17th overall signed a two-year pact while Asistio, the former Ateneo ace who was selected 22nd overall, got a one-year deal. (JNP)
