LH PARAGON Inc. (LHPI) Group chief financial officer Edmun Liu joined Keralty Group global chief executive officer Sergio Martinez with Keralty Prime Cebu Inc. (KPCI) president Javier Julian and KPCI chief executive officer Daniel Obradó in a series of meetings with key local officials in Cebu in a continued global effort to ensure better access to quality primary healthcare and holistic patient care in our local communities.

On July 27-28, 2022, LH Paragon Inc. and Keralty Group executives met with Mayor Jonas Cortes of Mandaue City, Mayor Teresa P. Alegado of the Municipality of Consolacion and Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan of Lapu-Lapu City as part of a series of international visits in the localities where Keralty Clinics are present, in a global drive to ensure access to cost-effective healthcare services for all communities.

Keralty Clinics in Cebu are part of an expanding network of healthcare facilities under Keralty Prime Cebu Inc., a partnership between global healthcare services provider Keralty Clinics and Cebu-based holding company, LH Paragon Inc.

The LH Paragon Group of Companies has been operating in the country for more than 50 years, with holdings in different industries both in the Philippines and abroad, including fashion retailing, wood distribution, real estate development, food retailing, and healthcare services.

In 2021, LH Paragon Group entered into a joint venture with the Spain-based Keralty Group to further improve and elevate the patient experience through a more innovative approach to holistic healthcare and patient services combining global expertise and local experience.

Keralty’s Martinez voiced optimism that the partnership has now actively been delivering an improved healthcare model and launched new innovations to ensure high quality and cost-effective care. He further said: “The goal is not to solve people’s illnesses, but to keep them healthy and improve their quality of life by providing them access to affordable, quality healthcare.”

LH Paragon’s Liu added: “Coming from the pandemic, we have witnessed the importance of keeping ourselves and our community healthy. We share in the optimism of our partners that with the improved healthcare framework and product innovations, we are now closer to providing access to quality primary healthcare for every Filipino.”

The Keralty Group has been operating for over 50 years starting in Spain. Today, it has presence in seven countries across Europe, the Americas, the United States and Asia Pacific.

Globally, it operates 12 hospitals, 371 medical centers, with more than 24,000 employees and 10,000 medical doctors, serving over six million customers worldwide.

With the goal of serving one million Filipinos in the next five years and strategic network expansion in the horizon, Keralty recognizes the importance of strong public-private partnerships to cement its mission of providing access to quality primary healthcare services for all communities and improve the quality of life for the general population.

Keralty Clinics currently operates three branches in Cebu: Keralty Clinica Oakridge in Mandaue City, KeraltyClinica Consolacion and Keralty Clinica Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City. (PR)
