Jerry Sloan will always be synonymous with the Chicago Bulls. Tough as nails old school guard from a Bulls team that represented Chicago well. Bob Love, Chet Walker, Tom Boerwinkle, Bob Weiss and Jerry Sloan.

Condolences to his family. I wasn't a fan of the Utah Jazz but he was a good coach.

A great University of Evansville Player. Lead the team to an undefeated season in 1964-65, with other great players from back then. A truly great person, player and coach.

While Jerry was coach a road trip to Utah was a nightmare. No greater accolade than that; he did it the right way and he did it with less talent in a league that still played real basketball. One of the all-time greats.

I remember him as a player at Evansville and the Bulls. Paired with Norm Van Lier they were one of the best defensive backcourts in the NBA. Class gentleman.

Probably the best coach who did not win an NBA championship.
    R.I.P. Coach Sloan.
