LTO extends validity of expired license to two months

THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has given a two-month extension to drivers and conductors whose licenses have expired starting June 1, 2022.

Drivers and conductors are given until Aug. 31, 2022 to renew their respective licenses.

LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante issued a memorandum informing those with expired driver’s permit, driver’s license and conductor’s license that they still have until Aug. 31, 2022 to renew their documents.

The move aims to ease congestion inside the LTO offices throughout the country to avoid the spread of the virus that causes Covid-19.
