- Madison Prewett gave Peter Weber an ultimatum during The Bachelor’s fantasy suite episode.
- Twitter has been divided about how she waited until this week to tell him she is waiting until marriage to have sex.
- Her dad, Chad Prewett, took to Twitter to defend her.
Now that Twitter has spent the past few days comparing notes about how Madison Prewett gave Peter Weber an ultimatum and told him she was waiting until marriage to have sex, it’s time for her dad, Chad, to defend her. (It’s been a minute since hometowns, so to jog your memory, Chad is the dad with the Bieber-lite swoop who said “she’s so pure” when Peter told him that he loves Madison.)
In response to the many critiques of how Madison went on the show, knowing there was a chance Peter would be intimate with other women, Chad sent out a simple defense for the Twittersphere to digest. He wrote, “America got to see tonight what I get to see every day.” Vague but effective.
And don’t get it twisted: This isn’t a case of parents posting embarrassing things on social media without the approval of their kids because Madison tweeted, “I love you, dad” in response.

After that exchange, Chad went on to Like a bunch of tweets about Madison and his parenting, some of which included statements like:
“Madison has been a breath of fresh air all season. I was so impressed with how eloquent she was in expressing herself with Peter last night.”
“Madi, thank you for your example! You are wise beyond your years… Wonderful parenting, too, Mom & Dad!”
“I’m proud of Madi for standing up for her beliefs and knowing the man she’s meant to be with will embody what she’s looking for. #thebachelor.”
“Okay, I’m crying now. You did such a great job raising her! What’s your secret so I can raise my daughter the same way.”
“Good job, Dad!”
So, yeah, those are his thoughts on the matter!
