THE Magnolia Hotshots rallied from a 16-point deficit in the fourth quarter to upend the NLEX Road Warriors in double overtime, 112-105, in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
The Hotshots appeared out of it at the onset of the fourth as they trailed, 71-87, after NLEX forward Anthony Semerad canned a triple. However, Magnolia came roaring back to tie the match at 94-all after a free-throw by Paul Lee.
