In today's round up of things we absolutely did not see coming, former Love Islander Lucinda Strafford has revealed a pretty major Stranger Things actor slid into her DMs after she was dumped from the show.

In a chat with radio presenter Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast, Lucinda admitted her inbox was getting a lot of attention since leaving the villa. When asked if any celebs had got in touch, she replied: "An actor from Stranger Things, I’m trying to think what his name is…"

Fellow Islander Brad McClelland (who Lucinda was originally coupled up with before Aaron Francis) then added "The kid that gets taken in Stranger Things."

The 'kid' they're all referring to is of course Will Byers, who appears in all three series of Stranger Things and is played by 16-year-old Noah Schnapp.

Speaking about the moment the pair connected, Lucinda said: "He’s so lovely! I think he’s like 16 and he was like 'I love you' and I was like 'I love you!' I don’t know who you are but…"

She then went on to clear up any confusion still lingering around her love triangle with Brad and Aaron.

"Right let’s just clear this a little bit. Brad left obviously, I had a couple days, I was very upset, you can tell I was upset can’t you?" she said.

"I was crying, I was awful, and then obviously, when at the start when I came in, there was a situation going on also with Aaron and Hugo as well. I don’t know if you guys saw that, and I was like, 'let’s see if Aaron still fancies me' and then we ended up sort of rekindling things, these things happen," she continued.

Lucinda and Aaron eventually coupled up before being dumped from the Island after a public vote. The pair quickly called it quits outside the villa and Lucinda has since been romantically linked to Brad...again.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
