MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang on Wednesday (November 21) finally released the appointment paper of Nicanor Faeldon as the new Bureau of Corrections chief.
“By virtue hereof, you may qualify and enter upon the performance of the duties of the office, furnishing this Office and the Civil Service Commission with copies of your oath of office,” the appointment letter read.
The appointment paper was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on November 19, 2018.
With its release, Faeldon can now assume his new job.
Faeldon replaced Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa who filed his bid for Senator in the 2019 midterm elections. – Marje Pelayo
