THE SM and Ayala malls require shoppers to present the new quarantine passes issued by the Cebu City Hall effective Monday, June 29, 2020.
In a statement, Ayala Center Cebu said shoppers must present their QR-code passes in compliance with Cebu City Executive Order No. 082-A.
SM City Cebu and SM Seaside also require the new passes.
Only authorized persons outside of residence (Apors) may show their identification cards and certificates of employment to enter these malls.
Ayala said those who are allowed to enter include employees of business process outsourcing (BPO) companies.
The city government started distributing 178,000 QR-coded quarantine passes through the barangay captains on June 26.
These replaced the 250,000 quarantine passes that were cancelled on June 23.
The new pass allows the holder to go out for essential trips between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. on designated days.
Holders of passes ending in odd numbers may go out of their homes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Those ending in even numbers will be allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
No one is allowed to go out on Sundays, except essential workers and authorized persons outside residence (Apor). (JOB)
