Man stabbed in Bohol; personal grudge eyed as motive

A 21-year-old man sustained wounds in the left cheek after he was stabbed by a person believed to be his enemy around 2 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Purok 7, Barangay Bay-ang, Ubay town, Bohol.

Police Corporal Fernando Doguiles, desk officer of Ubay Police Station, identified the victim as Charles Joshua Lodo, 21, a resident of the said place.

Doguiles told SunStar Cebu that Lodo was walking on his way home around 2 a.m. when the suspect identified as Jason Cleopas, of legal age, from Barangay Pag-asa of the said municipality, approached from behind him and stabbed him in the left cheek without any apparent reason.

The police are looking at personal grudge as the motive of the incident. (BBT, TPT)
