Yuletide season is without a doubt the most anticipated time of the year, especially in the Philippines. In spite of challenges, Filipinos are always looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit and spreading happiness.

World-class lifestyle destination Mandani Bay marked the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year by unveiling its “Christmas at the Bay,” and lighting up its bright Filipino-themed Christmas tree at the Mandani Bay Show Gallery on Oct. 22.

In its tradition of putting together an all-out night of music and merry-making, performers from Dreamcatchers staged and serenaded guests with Filipino Christmas songs followed by a grand fireworks display, among other special performances.

Following strict implementation of health protocols, clients, homeowners, partners and friends from the media joined the joyous event and expressed their admiration for the main design theme, which highlighted “parols” (traditional Filipino lanterns) put together to form the Christmas trees. The Christmas trees welcome a harmonious and blissful holiday season, and showcase a sophisticated lifestyle that is Mandani Bay.

“The parol is a symbol of hope and Christmas delight in Filipino culture, and we want to share this hope to all the Cebuanos that brighter days are ahead of us, as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year,” said HTLand project director Gilbert Ang.

Much awaited for its unique designs and elegant execution, Mandani Bay’s tree-lighting ceremony has become a tradition bringing together of homeowners, partners and guests in celebration of oneness and shared delight.
