Mandaue City to adopt alert level system

THE Mandaue City government will adopt the Alert Level System provided by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and implement the guidelines under Alert Level 2 beginning October 20 until October 31, 2021.

In Executive Order No. 36 released by Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, it is stated that liquor ban is lifted.

However, only those business establishments with corresponding valid business permit and license to sell/serve are allowed to sell and serve alcoholic drinks.

Serving liquor must not be allowed beyond curfew hours.

Drinking in public places is prohibited.

Domestic travelers who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to present a negative swab test result who wish to enter the city.

Alert level 2 refers to areas wherein case transmision is low and decreasing, healthcare utilization is low, or case counts are low but increasing, or case counts are low and decreasing but total bed utilization rate and intensive case unit utilization rate is increasing. (KFD)
