Is celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes ready for another addition to their picture-perfect family?
Marian said she and Dingdong are open to having another kid in an online chat with the media on Monday (November 8).
"Whatever the Lord gives us, we will accept that," Marian said. “Two is okay with me but if blessed and given the opportunity, why not?"
The actress, however, opened up about "hoping" for one last child.
"I would be grateful for another chance. But if they are the only two (children), then thank you so so much for the both of them," she said.
Marian, who works from home during the pandemic, says she is grateful to be able to spend time with her children. Even so, she is unable to avoid thinking about the things they could have been doing if there wasn’t a pandemic.
"I’m happy because the more time I have, the more I am able to focus on them. At the same time, I also don't want to be selfish because children should be exploring outside, mingling with other kids," she said.
As much as possible, she and Dingdong try their best to keep their days at home filled with activities such as biking and playing.
"This is our situation so let's make our outlook on life more positive...We can't leave the house so we have no choice but to go to our small garden."
They also try to find time for vacations. The whole family went to the beach a few weeks ago for some much-needed R&R.
"I'm happy because I saw my children really enjoyed the trip," she said.
Marian also said that she and her husband also found the time to talk while star-gazing at the beach.
“We are very thankful that somehow, it gave the four of us a few days together.”
In December of last year, Marian and Dingdong were married in 2014. The following year, they welcomed their first child Zia. Their son Ziggy was born five years later in 2019.
