COURT INFORMED

A Quezon City court handling the multiple murder 2009 Maguindanao massacre case was informed of the arrest of another suspect in Midsayap, North Cotabato earlier this week. In the return of warrant of arrest submitted to the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 221, Superintendent Godfrey Convento, regional chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of the ARMM police, said that suspect Kudza Uguia Masukat was arrested by authorities in Barangay Tugal Monday morning. PCOS Machines

VALENZUELA CITY - Members of the Valenzuela City Police Station participated in the the Commission on Elections' (COMELEC) demonstration of the Precinct Count Optical Scanner (PCOS) machines at the said City Tuesday. According to District 11 Election Officer Atty. Vicente Cruz, thirteen (13) policemen, including VCPS Chief Police Senior Superintendent Roderick Armamento, volunteered for the testing activity which was held at the old City Hall located in Barangay Malinta.
