Minglanilla ‘to strictly enforce’ dress code for town employees

EMPLOYEES of the Municipal Government of Minglanilla in southern Cebu can expect to be penalized if they do not comply with the dress code.

This was the warning issued by Mayor Rajiv Enad on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2022.

Starting Monday, Jan. 16, municipal employees must wear the proper uniform along with shoes and their identification cards.

Enad said their aim is to make municipal employees presentable while transacting with members of the public.

He said the order covers all public offices, adding that he hopes this will encourage municipal employees to practice professionalism and improve their work ethic.

Aside from the dress code, the mayor said they will start monitoring attendance and punctuality.

He said the Municipal Government’s Human Resources Department will go after employees who are always late or absent and penalize them. (ANV / PJB)
