Mom plants $50 under toilet seat to see if men of the house actually lift it

One mom was determined to prove that the guys in her home were as messy as she thought.

When you want to get to the bottom of something, sometimes staging your own little experiment is the best solution.

TikTok mom Cari Rosas knew something was up, and was certain the men of the house were not lifting the toilet seat before they peed.

“The boys in my house claim they lift the seat up when they use the restroom but I don’t believe them,” Rosas said. “Let’s see how this plays out.”

Her experiment was simple but effective and kind of genius. She taped $50 under the toilet seat. If they really lifted it up, the guys would eventually find it and nab the prize. The mom’s test racked up over 15 million views on TikTok

“If it was my house the money would sit there for a year,” one person said

“This is smart,” another commented

“I should try that. I have three boys. I know how you feel,” someone wrote.

In a follow-up video, Rosas revealed she was right after all. When she went back to see if the money was still there, it was exactly where she left it.
