Motorcycle falls off Marcelo Fernan Bridge viaduct

A MAN died after the motorcycle he was riding fell off the viaduct of Marcelo Fernan Bridge and landed on a concrete pavement in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City Sunday night, May 29, 2022.

The fatality was identified as Jonard Alpas, 26, a resident of Barangay Alang-Alang, Mandaue City. Injured was a certain Tata Tubias, 33, of Mandaue City.

Initial investigation conducted by the Police Station 5 of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office revealed that the two victims were bound for Lapu-Lapu from Mandaue when the accident happened.

Police said the driver might have lost control of the motorcycle, then bumped the bridge barrier, and fell off the viaduct. (FVQ)
