MANILA, Philippines — Former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman and now Marikina First District Representative Bayani Fernando opposed the plan of traffic authorities to ban motorcycles along EDSA.
However, the lawmaker noted that the MMDA should consider motorcycles as four-wheeled vehicles that have no exclusive lane.
“Give one lane to the motorcyclists,” said Fernando.
He also said that the carpooling lane should be designated as well on the yellow lane.
“The traffic there is lighter,” said the congressman. — UNTV News & Rescue
