Movie-Oke Is How Producer Calls ‘I Do Bidoo Bidoo’

The movie-going public is in for a totally different and refreshing treat as Unitel Productions presents a heartwarming musical comedy film in the star-studded movie-oke "I Do Bidoo Bidoo: Heto nAPO Sila."

The cast includes Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sam Concepcion and Ogie Alcasid, plus Eugene Domingo.

"I Do Bidoo Bidoo" features the timeless music of the Apo Hiking Society highlighted in the story of two young lovers (Sam Concepcion and Tippy Dos Santos) and their relationship with their families.

The movie is directed by Chris Martinez ("Ang Babae sa Septic Tank"), who ventures on his very first ever full-length musical film.

The movie-oke has always been the dream project of producer Tony Gloria.

He said he knows that the Filipino audience is ready for this kind of musical extravaganza on the big screen, especially when the music comes close to the heart of Filipinos. For this, he has chosen the songs of Jim Paredes, Buboy Garrovillo and Danny Javier who are collectively known as the Apo Hiking Society.

Other members of the cast are Neil Coleta, Jaime Fabregas, Kiray Celis, Gerald Pesigan, Sweet Plantado and Frenchie Dy.

The Apo songs in the film include "Pumapatak Na Naman Ang Ulan," "Doo Bidoo" "Syotang Pa-Class," "Awit Ng Barkada," "Panalangin," "Tuyo Nang Damdamin," "Mahirap Magmahal," "Salawikain," "Nakapagtataka," "Batang Bata," "Blue Jeans," "Kaibigan," "Huwag Masanay Sa Pagmamahal," "Ewan," "Paano," "Di Natuto," "Pag-ibig," "Kabilugan Ng Buwan."

The movie opens on Aug. 29.
