She shared a video of the singer talking to police, who eventually allowed the star to move closer to the man, who had recognised Dappy while he was in the area recording a music video.
A source told The Sun that Dappy "heard this young guy shouting his name and waving frantically" and asked police if he could talk to him.
In another post on her Stories, Imanie added: "I truly believe the universe sent us to that bridge so that Daps could save this young man's life.
"As soon as he recognised Daps his whole demeanour changed, we saw hope appear in his eyes. Daps told him his life is precious and that he loves him... he talked him off the bridge.
"The man and his family reached out and he is alive and well."
The Sun reported that the 27-year-old man was discharged from hospital on Thursday.
Dappy shared a series of images to his own Instagram on Friday, showing him posing around Tower Bridge during the music video shoot.
The rapper responded to a fan who praised him on Instagram by saying: "As long as I can help even just two people a week, I'm happy."
N-Dubz formed in 2000 and won a MOBO Award for Best Newcomer in 2007, earning mainstream attention when Dappy appeared on comedy panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Their highest chart performance was with I Need You's number five spot on the UK Singles Chart, though Dappy earned a number one with his work alongside Tinchy Stryder on 2009 single Number 1.
N-Dubz began a hiatus in 2011 and Dappy has since had success as a solo artist, including a number one single with No Regrets that year.
