FILIPINO warriors Reydemtor Nacionales and Ruel Pañales are seeing action in UAE Warriors 30 on July 2 at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nacionales, who’s based in UAE, will go up against Swedish Jonny Touma.

Nacionales is looking for back-to-back victories with UAE Warriors after winning his last fight—a first round submission of Abrorbek Madaminbekov last Sept. 4.

Touma wants to bounce back after being knocked out by Enrique Hecher Sosa in his latest outing.

Touma won his first three pro MMA fights before losing to Sosa last year.

Nacionales is 3-3 with two submissions and a knockout, while Touma is 3-1.

Meanwhile, Pañales makes his UAE Warriors debut against Russian Magomed Gadzhimuradov.

Pañales is relatively new to MMA and made his pro debut last year. He dominated the one-night Real Street Fighting (RSF): Last Man Standing flyweight tournament. He submitted Mark Anthony Jalaron in the quarterfinals, submitted Florentino Coronel via a Von Flue choke in the semifinals before forcing erstwhile unbeaten Edrion Macatangay to quit in the first round of the finals.

Gadzhimuradov made his UAE Warriors debut last year but suffered a majority decision loss to Taksim Zabitov.

Gadzhimuradov turned pro in 2020 and lost his debut fight against Artur Shogenov by decision. He bounced back the following year with a second round stoppage of Islambek Sultani Uulu.

Pañales is 3-0 with two submissions and a knockout, while Gadzhimuradov is 1-2 with a knockout.

UAE Warriors 30 features two title fights in the show’s headliners.

Al Alqaisi (12-5) locks horns with Jesse Arnett (19-8) for the UAE Warriors featherweight belt, while Vinicius de Oliveira (17-2) faces unbeaten Ali Taleb (6-0) for the UAE Warriors bantamweight belt.
