The person who uploaded the video (real name withheld for security purposes) said in a Facebook post that the biker who claimed to be an NBI employee punched the man who was delivering bread after the latter allegedly overtook him.

NBI-Central Visayas Director Reynan Oliva said he saw the video on Sunday and immediately checked with the officers and employees of NBI, but “no one among them was involved.”

“Unfortunately, none of them can identify this person in the video,” he added.

He urged the victim to file a complaint at the NBI office so that they can file appropriate charges against the biker.

“Definitely, we do not tolerate this kind of behavior. I hope the victim would come to the office and file a complaint so that he can help us identify this fake NBI so we can file the necessary charges against him including usurpation of authority,” Oliva said.

He added that he ordered the NBI agents to investigate the incident, as the biker “might also be involved in other criminal activities like extortion and illegal drugs.” (LMY)
