Neri: Halloween fun

The traditional Halloween party of Cebu Country Club (CCC) was shelved for two years because of the pandemic. This year, CCC president Joe Soberano and his board gave the go-signal for its return, and the club’s activities chairman, Jonji Chiongbian, made sure that it came back with a big bang.

The venue was the airy veranda facing the golf greens where a huge stage was set against a backdrop of a giant LCD screen. On screen were eerie images which made for a perfect Halloween setting.

All eyes were on the “cave entrance” (actually the hallway to the veranda creatively transformed into a cave) when the Costume Parade unfolded. All the participants emerged from the cave and then made their way onstage. What a sight!

Halloween at Cebu Country Club was a happy mix of FRIGHT night and FUN night!
