The Net Group Taps Smart Infoboard Service To Keep Connected

MANILA, Philippines - The Net Group (TNG), the largest developer of boutique IT office buildings in the Bonifacio Global City (BGC), will be using the Infoboard service of leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) to broadcast updates to their building tenants.

Infoboard enables organizations to conveniently and efficiently broadcast general information, advisories, or community-related announcements, straight to the mobile phones of subscribed individual members, anytime and anywhere.

"We use this technology mainly for disaster mitigation and prevention, but the Infoboard has several other applications. A number of local government units, colleges and universities, and private companies like TNG use the service to disseminate relevant news and friendly updates to members of their respective communities," says Smart Chief Wireless Advisor Orlando Vea.

Bob Barretto, Managing Director of Real Estate Management for TNG, finds the service is very innovative and timely. "We're gearing towards a more mobile approach of reaching out to our tenants and employees. With Infoboard, we can send out customized messages to our tenants and staff and they receive them instantly, while on-the-go, through their mobile phone."

On the partnership, Barretto shares, "Smart has provided us with a service that enhances our ability to use mobile networking. The Infoboard collaboration is the first of many more we hope to have with Smart. TNG is very much interested in maximizing Smart's upcoming wireless solutions in our future endeavors."

Currently, the Net Group has six (6) buildings - Net One Center, Net Square, Net Cube, Net Quad, Net Plaza, and Net Lima - all of which are located in Bonifacio Global City.
