The internet has gone mad for Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy today, after Coleen outed the star for selling fake and personal new stories to The Sun. But now, Netflix want in on the action. In fact, they've already joked about making a documentary.
33-year-old Coleen took to Instagram to call out pregnant WAG Rebekah Vardy for "informing the press about her private online posts". She captioned the post: "This has been a burden in my life for a few years now and finally I have got to the bottom of it......"
Coleen wrote: "For a few years now someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal Instagram account has been consistently informing The Sun newspaper of my private posts and stories.
"After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be, for various reasons, I had a suspicion."
Coleen continued to tell her followers that she hatched a clever plan to find out who it was. Is the suspense killing anyone else?
She wrote: "To try and prove this, I came up with an idea. I blocked everyone from viewing my Instagram stories except ONE account. (Those on my private account must have been wondering why I haven't had stories on there for a while).
"Over the past five months I have posted a series of false stories to see if they made their way into the Sun newspaper. And you know what, they did!"
The last line of her post? "It's....... Rebekah Vardy's account." Duh duh duhhhh.
Coleen's fans immediately jumped to support her, and comments like, "Genius !!!! Well done angel. It's incredible how people can stoop," flooded in.
Another fan wrote: "What a brave and bold thing to do. Named and shamed. 😂"
Over on Twitter, Netflix got involved in the drama. "We're going to have to make a documentary about this, aren't we" they tweeted.
we're going to have to make a documentary about this, aren't we— Netflix UK & Ireland (@NetflixUK) October 9, 2019
With 23k likes, the post (unsurprisingly) had a huge response. Twitter users have even been busy discussing who would play who in the series... And this is where things get good 😂
One user suggested that Jodie Comer could play Coleen while Katie Price would get cast as Rebekah Vardy. Just imagine.
No, a proper series..— Manny (@mannnnny80) October 9, 2019
Jodie Comer as Colleen
Katie Price as Rebekah Vardy
Me as Wayne Rooney
McKenzie Crook as Jamie Vardy
McKenzie Crook seemed to be the favourite when it came to who would play Jamie Vard... And how about Stephen Merchant as Peter Crouch? Nope, we're not entirely sure where he comes in, either...
Would you tune in? Same.
