Movie star and Masked Singer judge Ken Jeong is always keeping busy, and he knows how to pick projects. He's recently appeared in box-office hits like Crazy Rich Asians, had a stealth cameo in the record-breaking Avengers: Endgame, and turned in a tender supporting role in the Oscar-nominated Over the Moon. On TV, he had a Teen Choice Award-nominated role in the critically acclaimed Community, headlined his own network sitcom with Dr. Ken, and currently serves as the fan-favorite judge on the aforementioned Masked Singer

Ken has even stepped into the world of music, appearing as the lead role in the music video for Steve Aoki's collaboration with the global sensation BTS, "Waste It On Me."

But in addition to knowing how to pick great projects, he also knows how to pick great, practical self-care products to get him, and you, through the waning days of quarantine. If you've been wondering how Ken's been keeping himself going through lockdown, aside from his dearly missed The Darkest Timeline with Ken Jeong & Joel McHale podcast back in 2020, it's as simple as a fully charged phone, a backpack full of sugar-free soda, and a stroll on the treadmill to clear his mind.

Here's Ken's top five picks for New in the Q:

MyCharge Phone Charger

"I'm a good man, with a good phone, and a good charger," Jeong jokes, but Amazon customers are serious about this top-rated charger, with one five-star reviewer calling it "...the best setup I've seen in a power bank." It's easy to see why: with MyCharger's portability-focused design, you can charge two different devices on the go.

The dual-cable battery pack means whether you need a lightning cable or a USB-C, you're covered. Its HubTurbo power delivery means it can charge your device 75 percent faster than your standard iPhone charger. So if you're like Ken Jeong, "one of those people who have to have their phone charged to 100" every chance you get, then you need a MyCharge.

"When I'm on set, everyone knows that I'm gonna ask for a Coke Zero," Jeong said of his favorite beverage. When he needs a little boost, Coke Zero adds some pep in his on-set step: "...like a phone charger for humans," Jeong notes.

First launched in 2005, the recently rebranded Coca-Cola Zero Sugar can boast more zeros than just the titular lack of sugar. Coca-Cola Zero Sugar also contains zero calories and zero grams of sugar, which means you can get the same kick as a regular Coke without fretting about post-sugar-rush sluggishness.

As we all venture out into the world post-lockdown, perhaps the hardest readjustment is not having all the comforts of home on-hand. Many of us are turning to saddle bags and backpacks to ensure we always have our essentials.

Jeong swears by the Tumi Travel Backpack, noting "It's a very complete backpack without feeling too big". This backpack boasts everything you could want from a travel bag, from a water-resistant water bottle pocket to a quick-access phone pocket. And with enough space for a laptop, a change of clothes and all your essentials, you're set for spontaneous travel or whatever life throws your way.

We all know a treadmill at home is a great way to stay in shape without worrying about the weather or coughing up the cash for costly gym memberships. But for Ken Jeong, the treadmill offers more than just cardio; it can help create a sense of tranquility.

"It just relaxes me," Jeong said of his LifeFitness Treadmill. "It's really more for my mind than my body at this point." The folding treadmill is easy to use, easy to store, and offers three different incline positions, adjustable speeds, two cup holders, a tablet holder/reading rack, and can even monitor your heart rate to ensure a safe exercise session.

Xiidra

The old "I'm not a doctor, I just play one on TV" line doesn't apply to Ken Jeong, who received his M.D. from the UNC School of Medicine in 1995. In fact, Jeong still has his medical license, and prides himself in his Twitter bio on providing "science-based, peer-reviewed public health and medical information."

So when Jeong speaks about the dangers of dry eyes, it comes from a place of authority, both as a medical professional and as a sufferer himself, even if Jeong is quick to attribute it to "binge-watching all 85 TV shows I appear in."

To do something about his concern regarding dry eyes, especially in the wake of a global increase in screen time due to lockdown, Jeong has partnered with Novartis, the makers of Xiidra, "to encourage people to talk to their eye doctor and ask them if Xiidra is right for them." Xiidra is a prescription eye drop that can be used to treat the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.

Speak to your doctor to see if Xiidra is right for you.
