As well as one of the best singers and dancers we've ever witnessed (seriously, did you guys see her MTV VMAs performance?), Normani has well and truly cemented her place as a style icon.

Just last week, the singer stunned us all when she walked the red beige carpet at the 2021 Met Gala in a yellow Valentino Couture gown. And don’t even get us started on her fire VMAs red carpet outfit.

She serves a lot of incredible beauty looks, too. For the Met, Normani had gold eyeshadow to match said Valentino gown. While her VMAs performance saw her wear silver eyeshadow and matching silver manicure. In fact, you could just scroll through her Instagram page for countless beautiful looks – we really love this three-stranded braid.

For her latest hairstyle, Normani’s hairstylist Ashanti Lation has given the singer extra-long braids that reach down to her thighs. As well as looking super stylish, Ashanti explained in an Instagram post that this look is “one of my favourite protective styles to do on @normani” and helps to keep the singer’s natural hair healthy.

Posting a series of street style pictures on Instagram, Ashanti captioned the post: “Braids x baby hairs”. She also listed the benefits of the hairstyle, explaining that it “lasts 1-3 weeks”, is “easy to maintain” and that it “gives hair a break from heat styling”.

To achieve the look, Ashanti used products from her VIP Luxury Hair Care range, listing Greaux Drops and Prolong Oil on her post. She also styled Normani’s edges using the Elite Edge Control.

As for Normani’s makeup, celebrity makeup artist Grace Pae kept it simple with beautiful glowy skin and groomed eyebrows.

It really is Normani’s world and we’re all just living in it.
