Omega’s Serafica to fight in Tarlac

OMEGA Boxing Gym’s Franco Serafica is seeing action in the undercard of a “Warrior’s Call – Fight for Supremacy” on April 24, 2021 at the Megamart in Paniqui, Tarlac.

Serafica takes on Mark Anthony Rotilles in a six-round fight.

Serafica was originally slated to fight Rotilles in Omega Sports Promotions’ “Kumbati” show last March 27, but the fight was cancelled.

Serafica came from a first round stoppage of Matthew Fondales on Dec. 18, 2020 in Mandaue City.

Rotilles, on the other hand, dropped his last four fights and lost to Elmer Naason via a third round stoppage in Danao City in 2019.

Serafica is 4-1 with two knockouts, while Rotilles is 2-6 with a knockout.

The main event features a 10-round bout between 2016 Olympian Charly Suarez (5-0, 4 KOs) and Lorence Rosas (9-5-2, 3 KOs).

In the undercard, Arnel Baconaje (11-4, 9 KOs) locks horns with Jay Lloyd Quidlat (4-1-2, 2 KOs), Richard Pumicpic (21-11-2, 6 KOs) takes on Landy Cris Leon (13-21-5, 6 KOs) in a battle of veterans, Jose Roda Jr. (7-1-2, 1 KO) slugs it out with Jino Rodrigo (5-2-2, 4 KOs), Lorenz Ladrada (8-1-1, 2 KOs) faces off with Marklin Itim (2-4), Roy Sumugat (10-11-1, 4 KOs) trades leathers with Eljohn Evangelista (4-3, 1 KO) and Jover Amistoso (1-0) is up against newcomer Noli James Maquilan.
