Oplan Pagtugis nets Cebu’s 5th most wanted, 3 others

FOUR persons were arrested in separate operations as part of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s (CIDG) Oplan Pagtugis, or the campaign against wanted persons, one of its flagship programs.

The CIDG Mandaue Field Unit led by its chief, Major Richard John Macachor, picked up Marlon Pellejera Fajardo in Sitio Relis, Barangay Basak on Monday night, November 7, 2022.

Fajardo is charged with violating Sections 5 (selling) and 11 (possession) of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

His arrest warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 28 Judge Panfilo Intud Sala Jr. in Mandaue City.

Bail was set at P200,000 for his drug case and P120,000 for his case of illegal possession of firearms.

Fajardo, who is currently detained at the CIDG Central Visayas stockade, is described as the fifth most wanted person in Cebu Province.

Operatives of the CIDG Cebu City Field Unit nabbed 24-year-old Peter Lou Catulong Bantilo, alias Tikloy, and 30-year-old Glay Mabulay Caballes, alias Gloy-gloy, who are both wanted for theft.

The warrants for their arrest was issued by Municipal Trial Courts in Cities (MTCC) Branch 9 Judge Amy Rose Soler-Rellin in Cebu City.

Bail was set at P40,000 each.

They also arrested Doven Horen Abuan, 42, who is charged with estafa.

His warrant was issued by MTCC Branch 12 Judge Tranne Lee Digao-Ferrer in Cebu City.

Bail was set at P18,000. (BBT, PJB)
