OVERLOADING and not following the “open window” policy were among the violations committed by some public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers in Talisay City, said Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.

Garcia inspected on Wednesday, August 18, the Talisay City Police checkpoint that was put up by police personnel.

In an interview, Garcia said that Talisay City Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Gerard Ace Pelare reported to her that most of the violations committed are overloading and failure to open the windows.

The governor said she will inspect the checkpoints in 21 towns and cities of Cebu Province Wednesday, August 18.

The governor also distributed wearable air purifiers to police personnel. (MVE)
