A CONTAINER van containing clothes and other household items was razed by fire in Barangay San Roque, Maribojoc town, in Bohol Friday morning, September 2, 2022.

The items in the van that included, among others, clothes, sala set, tools and appliances were brought by American national James McCrow and his Boholana wife Jocelie to Maribojoc after they decided to stay there.

Local authorities placed the fire damage at P2 million.

Police Staff Sergeant Felix Quibol, desk officer of Maribojoc Police Station, said they received the fire alarm at 10 a.m. Friday.

The fire was totally extinguished after 10 minutes.

Quibol said James was having welding works near the container van when fragments from the welding stick entered the van, causing the fire. (BBT, TPT)
