Pambansang Kolokoy Joel Mondina and ex-wife, Marites, appeared together again “for the last time,” clearing speculations that they are not on good terms, and giving closure to their fans.

A few days ago, Pambansang Kolokoy revealed in a separate video that he and Marites have decided to end their marriage, but also quickly clarified that they’re co-parenting their children and he continues to attend to their needs.

Para po magkaroon na kayo [supporters] ng peace of mind and hopefully matapos na ‘yung iniisip-isip niyo, yes, [Marites and I] are no longer together,” Pambansang Kolokoy said in a video entitled “Peace of Mind.”

(In order for you, supporters, to have peace of mind and hopefully put an end to the endless questions, yes, Marites and I are no longer together.)

Para naman sa ikasasaya ng inyong buhay, there’s Marites,” Pambansang Kolokoy said as he introduced his ex-wife to the said video.

(For your happiness, here’s Marites.)

Pambansang Kolokoy even joked with her about unsubscribing to his YouTube channel after she revealed that her friends sometimes share some of his video content with her.

Nagmamarites nga sila eh,” Marites laughingly said. Marites, the equivalent of a Karen in the Philippines, is a name Filipinos use to refer to those who like to gossip.

“I better subscribe again,” Marites added.

Pambansang Kolokoy, afterward, pleaded with his supporters to not inquire about his personal life anymore, and just enjoy the contents he releases on social media.

Sana naging masaya kayo na nakita niyo si Marites. Pero ito lang po ang pinapakiusap ko sa inyo – just enjoy what I do on social media, and leave our personal lives alone,” Pambansang Kolokoy said.

(I hope you guys were happy to see Marites again. But please – just enjoy what I do on social media, and leave our personal lives alone.)

The video is now deleted from Pambansang Kolokoy’s YouTube account.
