Parajinog kin nabbed with more than P100-M worth of Shabu

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Region 10 has seized around P112-million worth of suspected shabu from the relatives of late Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog.

Melodia Parojinog and husband, Gaudencio Malingin are now in the custody of PNP Ozamiz after they were nabbed by authorities with 8 kilos of shabu in their possession at their residence in Brgy Sta. Cruz, Wednesday.

Two more kilos of shabu were also seized from Vice Mayor Nova Parojinog’s cousin, Maychell Parojinog Gumapac.

The authorities also seized on December 4, suspected shabu with a street value of P32-million from Parojinog supporters.

Aside from illegal drugs, various kinds of arms and ammunition were seized from the house of Mayor Parojinog’s brother, Ricardo and his employee, Manuelito Francisco. – UNTV News & Rescue
