PBA Results: Powerade, Ginebra score

MANILA, Philippines - Powerade and Barangay Ginebra won their respective games tonight against two teams which figured in a blockbuster trade some weeks ago.

Powerade subdued the San Miguel Beermen 99-91 in the first game while the Barangay Ginebra Kings downed the Air21 Express 99-86 in today's PBA Commissioner's Cup games held at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

The wins boosted the chances of the Tigers and the Kings chances of making it to the next round while at the same time put in peril the chances of Air21 and most especially the fancied San Miguel Beermen.
