FANS of local basketball now have something to look forward to as the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) board announced that it will restart its season next month at the Clark Freeport and Economic Zone in Pampanga.
The league will adopt a format similar to what the National Basketball Association (NBA) is using wherein players, coaches and staff will be taken from the hotel and transported to the playing venue and back again afterwards.
The games will be staged at the Angeles University Foundation in Angeles, Pampanga, while the players will be billeted at the Quest Hotel inside the Clark Freeport Zone.
The PBA board announced that the tournament will be a compressed one and should it be given the green light by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, the games could start as soon as October 9. (JNP)
