For the first time in league history, the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will be staging four games in a single day beginning on Tuesday, November 3, at the AUF Sports Arena in Pampanga
In total, five quadruple-headers will be played from hereon end as the league tries to make up for the postponements it went through in its first month inside the “bubble.”
Aside from that, there will also be three triple-headers and two normal double-headers.
After announcing a break last Friday in compliance with the additional protocols recommended by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, the PBA will be making its return on Tuesday with the first game being held at 10 a.m. featuring Blackwater and the reigning champions San Miguel.
This will be followed by the game between Phoenix and TerraFirma at 1 p.m. and then, NorthPort and TNT at 4 p.m. The final game will see Barangay Ginebra battling Alaska at 6:45 p.m.
Four teams, namely Ginebra, Blackwater, TNT and NorthPort, are slated to play back-to-back games. On Wednesday, the Elite will duke it out against Meralco at 1 p.m. while TNT faces off against Magnolia at 4 p.m. NorthPort will then tackle Ginebra at 6:45 p.m.
The league made the amendments to the schedule in order to make sure the league finishes before Christmas. (JNP)
