With the gradual easing of restrictions toward vaccinated persons in Cebu City, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) renewed the call for its members and their employees to get jabbed.

The chamber on Friday, September 3, released a statement encouraging member companies and employees to step up in getting themselves fully vaccinated.

"Having at least 50 to 80 percent of the eligible population fully vaccinated is when herd immunity is achievable," CCCI said.

CCCI emphasized that it is crucial to complete the two doses of Covid-19 vaccine shots, as getting the first dose helps prime the immune system, while the second dose helps reinforce the immune system's response.

"For this reason, the Cebu Chamber, together with PBB, earnestly reminds our members, their employees and those who have not gotten the Covid-19 vaccine to please go to your LGU or PBB vaccination sites and get that jab," the chamber said. (JOB)
