James McAvoy and Sharon Horgan isn't a combo we would ever have thought of, but now we basically want nothing else forever. The pair teamed up for the BBC's new drama Together which aired last night, and there was one thing fans couldn't stop talking about.

In case you didn't catch it, Together follows a couple stuck in lockdown together with their young son Arthur. Played by His Dark Materials' James McAvoy and Catastrophe's Sharon Horgan, the couple (simply named 'He' and 'She' struggle with the strain on their relationship caused by the pandemic and must learn to survive with just each other.

Unusually for the BBC, the film project which was shot over 10 days, takes place over 90 minutes rather than separate episodes. It's equal parts "hilarious and heartbreaking" according to writer Dennis Kelly, who described the film as "the story of a husband and wife who are forced to re-evaluate themselves and their relationship through the reality of lockdown."

After the film aired last night viewers flooded social media with praise for the project, loving the combination of McAvoy and Horgan and the witty and heartfelt script. But, there was one thing in particular that fans couldn't stop talking about, and that was finally getting to see James McAvoy play a role with his real Scottish accent.

In the rare moments when they weren't taking about McAvoy's accent, viewers were generally just raving about how good the film was.
