Prime Fight Championship (PFC) 2 - “Exodus” features promising Cebuano MMA fighters Rhyle Lugo, Mark Cuizon and Allan Albindo in a double-header on June 25 at the Mabolo Sports Complex.

Lugo faces off with veteran Urtych Alarin in the main event.

Lugo, who fights out of Vagabond MMA, is a devastating striker with a very good ground game. He’s been fighting and dominating the amateur ranks for years now.

Lugo will have his stiffest test to date against a very experienced opponent.

Alarin has fought in the country’s top MMA organization, the URCC. The Butuan Xtreme fighter fought the likes of former URCC featherweight champion Ricardo Sapno and ex-ONE Championship fighter Jimmy Yabo.

Alarin is 3-3 in pro MMA.

Meanwhile, Albindo trades blows with Vagabond MMA’s Cuizon in the co-headliner.

Albindo, who fights out of Survival MMA, fought in the ONE Warrior Series in 2019. He suffered a unanimous decision loss to Manthan Rane in his pro debut. He followed it up with a third round knockout win over Mohamed Arif Izzudin before losing to Toreq by split decision.

Cuizon, on the other hand, also fought in the ONE Warrior Series, ONE Championship’s developmental league. He dropped his first fight in the league via a first round keylock submission against Rockie Bactol. He bounced back with a unanimous decision over Ismael Bandiwan and then lost to Detchadin Sorsirisuphatin by unanimous decision.

Albindo is 1-2, while Cuizon also has an identical 1-2 record in the pro ranks but is 4-1 as an amateur.

“We want to help the local fighting community to have a platform to showcase their skills to gain exposure. There are a lot of grass roots talent we witness only to go past their prime without exposure and acknowledgement,” said PFC head Deej Gumalo.

In the MMA undercard, Francis Pasayloon locks horns with Francis Quilaquiga, Benjie Burlaos takes on EJ Patron, Marvin Verano is up against Tim Rama and John Mark Cordura squares off with Jalanie Sumagayan.

In the kickboxing undercard, Norman Yrastorza trades leathers with Sunny John Omnos, Clythe Ang slugs it out with Brian Don Alexandra Villarin in 139-pound female fight, Marcos Congmon faces Anthony Patajo and Justin Laganhon is fighting Christian Ray Cua.
