Four players from TNT Tropang Giga have been placed under PBA's Health and Safety Protocols, leading to the postponement of several matches in the 2021 Philippine Cup.

The league made the announcement on Tuesday (July 20) as the four members of TNT have either tested positive for COVID-19 based on results or needs to be tested again for confirmation.

The rest of the Tropang Giga are now in isolation as well.

"They are now isolated and will be tested again," the PBA said in a statement. "The rest of the team who tested negative are also isolated and will be retested."

In accordance to league protocols, Terrafirma Dyip have also been isolated after engaging in a match against TNT last Saturday (July 17), albeit all members testing negative.

The PBA has now adjusted its schedule for the All-Filipino Conference in light of the sudden development.

The match between TNT and Magnolia, as well as the game between Terrafirma and Alaska, slated on Wednesday (July 21) will be postponed.

Instead, the league will hold a showdown between Phoenix and NorthPort and a bout between Alaska and Magnolia.
